LIFE Info Day

At the invitation of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, on May 16, 2024, representatives of the Polish Society of Wildlife Friends “pro Natura” took part in the LIFE Information Day in Warsaw. During the conference, which was a part of the event, Rafał Szkudlarek and Andrzej Pytel, presented the activities of the LIFE+ Podkowiec Towers project. The annual meeting of the LIFE Program, is an opportunity to exchange experience in the implementation of projects, the possibility to establish cooperation and promote the activities carried out.

The conference was opened by Marta Babicz – Director of the Department of Foreign Funds at the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. The panel discussion was attended by Dorota Zawadzka-Stępniak – President of the Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, Krzysztof Bolesta – Secretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, Prof. Dr. Maciej Nowicki – Minister of Environment in 1991, 2007-2010, Dr. Jan Rączka – President of the Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in 2008-2012.

In the part devoted to nature and biodiversity, LIFE Program beneficiaries spoke:
Polish Society of Wildlife Friends “pro Natura”, Biebrza National Park and the Ministry of National Defense.
